"Two insects in the woods" is an interactive learning app designed by the industry-academic cooperation course of the Taipei Zoo and the Department of Learning and Media Design of Taipei City University. This APP mainly introduces the common insect species in Taiwans middle and low altitude mountains and forests: Taiwanese caterpillars and Taiwanese bear cicadas. Based on the design of insect sounds and sounding methods, the commonality of sounding methods between insects and musical instruments is explored: when the bow rubs the strings, the strings will vibrate and make a sound; when the snare drum is struck, the sound will be generated inside the drum body Resonance. This is a metaphor for the vocal organs and vocal methods of Taiwanese Saoyan and Taiwanese bear cicadas. At the same time, concerts are used as the theme, allowing learners to experience the beauty of the sounds of insects.The first part is "Insect Encyclopedia". Players will participate in this music conference as judges. Before the music conference officially starts, they must read the entry information of the two insect orchestras and have a basic understanding of the two orchestras. In this session, we will introduce all kinds of knowledge about Taiwanese Sao Yan and Taiwanese Bear Cicada: appearance characteristics, living habits, and ways of speaking. Describe in detail the characteristics of the body organs and body appearance of the two insects to distinguish them from other insects, and attach actual photos for the learners reference; explain the season, time and life cycle of the two insects, hope learners In specific seasons, actually go outdoors to find the traces of the Taiwan Sao Yun and the Taiwan Bear Cicada. Finally, the structure and sounding principle of the musical instrument are used to compare the Taiwan Sao Yun and the Taiwan Bear Cicada, so that learners can fully understand the vocal organs of the two insects.
